Mr. Sunil K. Yadav, a former Judicial Member of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal started his professional career as a lawyer in Delhi in 1980, in the field of civil, commercial, criminal and service litigation. During his professional career, he represented numerous clients across industries and sectors including government undertakings such as Northern Railway, Mahanagar Telecom Nigam Limited, Gram Sabhas of Delhi, National Assurance Company, New India Insurance Company, United India Insurance Company, Oriental Insurance Company and Hindustan Zinc Limited, before the Delhi High Court and other judicial forums.
On March 21, 1996, he joined the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal as a Judicial Member, and later on took over charge as a senior member in various cities where he was posted. On November 30, 2018, he was superannuated and has joined the legal profession.
With over 38 years of experience in the legal field (which includes more than 22 years in the judicial capacity in the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal), he has significant expertise and unique insight in various facets of law, particularly in direct taxation matters.
