Mr. L.N Rao, a Partner at Ray Legal, is a former Deputy Commissioner of Police in Delhi. Recipient of various awards and recognitions (including Police Medals for Gallantry, Meritorious Service, President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, United Nations Medal for Service with United Nations Interim Administration etc.), he has had an illustrious career in the police service with more than 35 years experience in the field of criminal investigation. He has also served in the United Nation’s mission in Kosovo (Europe) in 2003-2004. Post his retirement from the police service, Mr. Rao joined the legal profession as a criminal lawyer in 2014 and has since then successfully represented numerous clients before the High Court of Delhi; other District Courts in Delhi NCR, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal etc.. Besides his expertise in criminal matters, he has also dealt with numerous matters related to property disputes, Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, economic offences and enforcement directorate matters.
